Hi All,

Curious as to how TB! does its duplicate message
search. Never had trouble with it before, but now...

Anyway, I have a couple of e-mail accounts, one of
them being Yahoo premium. When I download my messages
to make sure I have a copy of all my correspondence I
find that TB! doesn't always find the dupes.

I've exported two messages to eml (one copy local one
from Yahoo) and done MD5 and SHA1 hashes on the file
and the messages are identical. But TB doesn't see it
that way. The only difference in TB is the rec'd date
(and some it gets btw).

How I do it: Copy folder "bat_folder_A" to
"folder_test" import "yahoo_folder_a" to "folder_test"
and select remove duplicates.

Also, it seems if a message was "Sent" it NEVER find
dupes in the folder (yup, a boo-boo on my part left
some hanging around the inbox) :)

Any insight or suggestions appreciated.

Andrew
