Hello Michael, > The error message I get is: > SEND - Message has not been sent. Server reply - Invalid recipient: > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > The message never leaves The Bat. It remains in the Outbox. > > Any ideas on how I can address this problem?
It certainly looks like it is the destination server that is rejecting that address as invalid or unknown. Try this: Create a text file called "protocol.ini" (without the quotes, of course) with three lines: [SMTP] logging=1 log=smtp.trace And place this file in the account's home directory. Try sending a short message to the problem address. A detailed log file of the transaction named "smtp.trace" will be created at the account's home directory. Delete the 'protocol.ini' file or at least set logging=0. Send me the 'smtp.trace" file if you wish or copy its contents and paste them in a message to this list so we can take a look. -- Best regards, Miguel A.
