I am among the least expert of your fellow subscribers, so wait for some of the more knowledgeable users of The Bat! may have for you in the way of help, before following my advice. However, I note that you are running XP. XP automatically sets a restore point every day or so. And if you use it, you still have the capability to "undo" the restore. I have used the XP restore once or twice--it takes you back to whatever state you were in with your applications for the day that you choose. Yet it conserves all your current data. I think it's worth a shot. For me it's Programs/ACcessories/System Tools/System Restore. There you will have an explanation of how this works available and the choices with which to do it. Keep us informed of how things go for you, please. :) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.5.25 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.5.0.17 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
