I am not for sure about the Address Book Certificate thing. I didn't
do that to get the Gmail accounts to work. But I did have some issues
that may be the problem.

First off, you have it set up in Gmail to allow POP Access, Right?

Next in The Bat!, go to Account/Properties/Transport

Make sure you have the following set up:

Send Mail:

     Server: smtp.gmail.com
     Authentication: SMTP Authentication Checked
Specific Settings: User Name and Password
Connection: Secure to Regular Port (STARTTLS)*
     Port: 587

Receive Mail:

     Server: pop.gmail.com
     Authentication: Regular
     User:
     Password:
Connection: Secure to Dedicated Port {TLS)*
     Port: 995

     * These are the 2 settings that I had to mess with the most.

That should do it. That is how I have mine set up and everything is
working fine, so far. :)

Hope this helps...
