I have used and promoted TB for three years - with enthusiasm.

I have an email account for each client.

I cannot set up separate accounts in TB for each because the connection
centre locks up with more than seven accounts.

I therefore arrange for most of the incoming to be diverted to one account
and then use filters to common folders to re-sort the incoming.

In order to maintain professionalism I use templates when sending out from
common folders.

The whole thing is a complex interlocking of the excellent TB features.

I promote TB because of its flexibility, email management through regex and
message generation etc etc.

When a feature I _have_ to rely on suddenly becomes broken in a release - I
think I have a right to chase the fixing of it.

I looked at Bug Tracker and - only having the evidence presented there -
raised the query about the accuracy thereof - in slightly acerbic terms
perhaps - but it was left open for anyone to explain it.

It was subsequently suggested that many bugs are fixed by direct contact
with developers. So what is the point of making the Bug Tracker accessible
to all users if it provides misleading information.

By all means label me a permanenet whinger if you like; label me a pain in
the backside if you like; the fact remains that a feature that has been
around for a long time, and which, therefore, I have a right to rely on -
has been broken, is acknowledged by others as worthy of promotion to high
priority, then sits without any apparent action, when the Tracker says only
three bugs are 'in work' and the developer 'assigned' to this particular
bug is not - according to Bug Tracker, working on any others - is somewhat
galling.

If permanent whingeing is defined as raising an issue over a bug over a
period of two days having been a three year user of TB and providing help
and support to others both on and off list (to my own clients as well) -
then I don't know what to say.
