It's an old problem discussed on the TBBETA list quite some months
ago.

The "cut in half" part of the menu is there only if one has picked up
the pre-Office 2000 Microsoft dictionaries.

There's a way to get those, I think--Miguel A. Urech discussed what
was going on at some length in the threads on TBBETA to which I've
referred above.
