When you're doing a monthly backup, it shouldn't be so hard to extract
TB's registry setting and include that in your backup, after all, it's
all located in: 
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT\The Bat!

Apparently you're not an average user, so this would be peanuts.
