It's somewhat unfortunate, that TB has been able to do this for years,
but that that functionality has been removed.

I'm afraid the only way to (real time) share messages between multiple
instances of TB is by using IMAP accounts. That means that either your
ISP should support IMAP (with simultaneous logins enabled) or you
should install your own IMAP server on your LAN.
