Look at the very bottom of your editor window. On mine, there's a tab that reads "Plain Text (MicroEd)." When I do a right mouseclick, I see a context menu. From there, I can select (among others) "HTML only." At the top of the editor window is a menu labeled "Format." Clicking on it offered the choice to "Insert image." When I clicked on that, I got a Windows Explorer type window from which I could navigate to a collection of images (pictures, or gifs, or any other graphic). I chose one. It immediately appeared at the place my cursor was currently pointing to in the text. I like the MicroEd editor much better than the HTML editor, so I then switched back to MicroEd, using the tab at the bottom of the editor window. Immediately, the image disappeared, and my text was formatted as I have it set to be for MicroEd in Options/Preferences/Viewer-Editor. However, I see from your headers that you are using The Bat! v. 2.12.04. I don't think this capability existed there. If you want to have it, I think you will need to upgrade to v. 3.xx, preferably, version 3.80.06, the latest release of The Bat! -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.81.08 Beta on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.80.06 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
