I don't use Gmail, but I recalled seeing that there's no way to get it to send copies of the posts you yourself make to a list. So I did a search, found this thread in TBUDL, in which the Gmail behavior is confirmed: mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] c&p from message cited above: ------------- > Can anybody confirm using this list (or TBBETA) AND a Gmail account > that his mails to the list do not get resend to oneself? Yes I can confirm. I see this all the time and I am on a lot of different list. Gmail does not send they mail you sent to the list. ------------- end c&p I don't recall anyone's posting a setting in Gmail that would change this behavior. One work-around that was proposed, the thread of which I haven't found yet--maybe it was on TBBETA or on TBOT--was to filter your Sent mail copy to the list folder. That way you would at least have a complete thread. If you wanted to be sure the post had actually reached the list, you could enable the TB! list's post acknowledgment feature, through your list account. If Gmail has changed its capabilities since 2005, I'm sure someone will eventually correct my information. :) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.81.14 Beta on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.80.06 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
