I'm  not  sure  the  problem  is TB! ZAP is the file extension for the
Software installation settings file associated with Microsoft Windows.
It  can  also  be  the  file extension for the FileWrangler compressed
file.

So i'm guessing something is wrong with Windows... you could try a
google on fixing zap errors.

I did. No result. I have no reason to think that anyting else than TB! is being difficult here: everything else is working fine.

The problem could well be with Windows - I don't know, I am not a Windows nor TB! expert. But since the problem is only a problem within TB! (countless other programmes use these browse windows to help ypou find a folder or file, they all still do) I hoped for a solution from these forums.
