Hello TBUDL,
Between closing the bat! and reopening it, one account (my wife's
primary account) loses the majority of its emails and folders. I
can restore from backups but this is becoming tiresome. She has
a number of virtual folders that do not remember the folders to
watch and this has to be set up again.
The closing and restart of The Bat! doesn't have to be a long
time. The loss happens even if you shut it and then straight away
reopen it. I am using the common profiles application directory to
store the mails.
I will provide more information if needed. I have tried
uninstalling and uninstalling and removing the working directory.
I am not using OFTE, although I did once along time ago. Looking
at some accounts folders the folder name are just letters and
numbers (probably the vestige of this abortive attempt to employ
OFTE across the shared users on this computer). BUT this is only
affecting one account and other account share the cryptic names.
Hope I have explained this clearly and someone can help. We have a
number of emails we do not wish to lose.
