Is it just me or are all LCD TVs crap quality?
Many lack colors -> banding effect.
And as soon as there is some movement in the picture it starts to show
artifacts -> slow GPU/CPU
And that's when running a promotional DVD that's compiled with clips to promote
the screens.
Imagine what happens if the screens need to filter noise from a broadcast.....

I think that will change very fast now.
XP also comes in a 64-bit favor but it's existence is almost a secret.
Intel is hyping it's Core Duo line so soon many have a 64-bit CPU.
Vista is promoting 64-bit.
When looking in the local shops 80% of the PCs/laptops have Core Duo or a AMD
64-bit CPU.
But then.....
Nothing. There are very few 64-bit apps. Most stuff still runs in 32-bit mode.
Some programs don't even run on a 64-bit OS.
Until then all we can do is benefit from the huge addressing space.
Slam in 8GB ram and enjoy

The moment you have worked out an answer, start checking it -- it probably
isn't right.
