And that was a big surprise to me because I was sure (without actually
testing it) that AMON would detect it. But no, you are right, I have
been testing also with Eicar and no, AMON scans TB's *.tmp file but does
not detect Eicar.

I've been talking with the tech support of NOD32's Spanish distributor,
who also distribute The Bat!, and they didn't really believe me. They
asked me to send them a summary of the problem by email and they said
they will make some tests when they have some time. But I don't know if
they will or how, because at least the person I talked to didn't seem
very knowledgeable to me. He assured me that IMON does scan outgoing
email, which it doesn't.
