Amazing. I wish mine was somewhere close to that fast - always 4
to 5 minutes. Those at work often 6 or 7.

Yes, that works well, Akebono. I do that with some high-volume
folders (such as the one for this list). You can even automate
using folder properties/alternate deletion - move to specified
folder - use alternate deletion for purging this folder. And "keep
messages in base for x days" and "on exit" - both boxes selected.
If the folder you move them to is in a password protected account
the messages are then not loaded unless/until you enter the
account password.
