Voyager is a different animal, if you use it on a USB stick (like I
do). Folders get corrupted because of outside electromagnetial
influence (like from a mobile phone).

Those disappeared messages are in a *.bin file in the same directory.
However, they are unrecoverable, because Voyager uses OTFE. I have
repeatedly asked that OTFE be optional in Voyager, to no avail.

In TB! (without OTFE), the messages in the *.bin file can be easily
recovered with the Import function.

You don't need to delete the folders, just delete the files within
them. The effect is the same, though.
