I could restore this more safely if this were done on a different/old/spare machine where I wouldn't have to worry about either losing messages, but setups, too. I thought sanboxie might be able to do it on the same machine if it were capable of holding a copy of TB! to which I could restore, then just dump the whole thing later. With the registry involved though <shudder> maybe the separate machine is the better deal for me. Sandboxie may be useful for something else though. Neat concept! Thanks again Roelof.
