_I_ do not need it. (actually using Kaspersky AV 8, but it is the same
principle). In addition, the on-acces-monitor of the AV-Tool will
detect some malicious file anyway as soon it is written to the disc.

Besides of that, scanning for malware insides of archives is an quite
ineffective thing. One can actually hide very easily every malware for
every On-demand scanner with the tools present on almost every PC
(e.g. 7-Zip or WinRar).
