Of course that's all true. I'm not disputing any of that. There is a risk of online information being stolen. It's just not something I'm going to put much energy into worrying about. There are other smarter and more competent (and more paranoid) people out there who do worry about these things, and I'm grateful for that. I like to think that I generally understand the risks and that I'm reasonably prudent in how I exchange information.
