Dear All, about two weeks ago I got cought by the worst virus I ever had. As it looks until today it must be most presumably a rootkit type of virus. After getting communication back i am still struggling to re-install SP4 on my W2k. The infection reverted my system back to SP3. But the most strange fact in the the whole is this "it has deleted all the Registry of TB! eMail Client". All other programs are fine. The Date of TB! are also fine it's just the registry that is gone.
Now I need to rebuild my TB!client. Unfortunately I didn't lately do regular backups of my registry. What I have is a Full Registry Backup where there is about 80% of all my Accounts and almost 100% of other TB! settings. I am wondering what you can suggest in getting TB! going. [1] Re-install all from scratch [2] Extracting "RIT" part of the Full Backup and importing this into the Registry and then making those final adjustments by hand that where not in the backup? What can you suggest please?
