Not sure why this is an issue; you just need to tick the folders for 
both accounts when you enter the search terms before pressing Start. I 
sometimes search for something across all accounts and all folders.


There are other ways around this. Some suggestions:-

1. A filter to move all incoming mail from one of the accounts to the 
other. (The downside is that you may end up replying from the wrong 
account.)

2. Set up Virtual Folders that show you the mail from both accounts
