I was out sailing with Matt and Carla Sunday when I heard about it. It's sad that there has been such a decline in participation in our sport. It's not just the Catamaran groups that have seen a decline. Almost all Yacht clubs have seen a decline in entries. I'm not sure if it's due to people not having time, the rising cost of boats and gear or it's a generational thing.
Our sport is slowly dying and I'm not sure what it would take to revive it.
