This is why I've left OpenOffice.org (just naming a few): - http://office.microsoft.com - http://docs.google.com - http://www.zoho.com/
The MSFT Office, OpenOffice.org and IBM Symphony are not competing with each other, but rather to the online and free office versions. This is why web2.0 is so famous; the ubiquity has reach everyone of us. We just need a browser and an online connection. The next wave; mobile versions. You could always argue that someone need some special features that the offline versions couldn't offer, but get real, the average John Doe just want to share docs and make some nice texts and spreadsheets out of it. It's not rocket science anymore. -- //VD _______________________________________________ tce mailing list [email protected] http://lists.paradigma.pt/mailman/listinfo/tce
