Just forget about single cd's, 6 pack cd's or mp3's player (iPod/Zune/etc) integration. (I own a 6 pack cd player on my Mazda6 and before that a mp3 cd player on Mazda3)
The solution: flash card audio stereo. http://www.digitalhome.ca/content/view/2007/206/ *Pros* - It's fast - It's smaller - It's a flash drive - 8 GB's costs 100€ - that's a lot of mp3's - Almost every computer has some kind of flash card reader (SD,MMC,etc) *Cons* - It's a flash card and not even macbooks have flash readers built in (ahaha) - Has a smaller lifetime than the disks (HDD) inside mp3's players But, typically flash drives (and therefor SSD) have a data lifetime on the order of 10 years before degradation. That's too much for most of us. My HDD died at the age or 5.
