Audience of Twittering Assholes http://scobleizer.com/2008/03/11/audience-of-twittering-assholes/
It all started to sound a little like kindergarten http://experiencematters.criticalmass.com/2008/03/11/the-cult-of-the-amateur/ As I said today: http://twitter.com/vd/statuses/770015098 "ahhh the internet, where you can argue about someones interview and expect that the host has _your_ (and everyone else too) point of view" Some say that this new internet is the pinnacle for the amateur, where people are in power, where "you" (remember Time?) are the center of things. That's called egocentrism and it's not new. Actually, everything that the internet produced is based around the people that creates it. Back to the interview/flirt of Sarah Lacy to Mark Zuckerberg on SXSW [1] that everyone's talking about, I've just confirmed two things; a) Zuckerberg and Facebook need a real CEO or a new facelift for their PR, b) Lacy should've know their audience better. For her, I think that the 1995 cartoon from the New Yorker fits like a glove: http://paradigma.pt/~vd/images/internet_dog.jpg [1] - http://www.austin360.com/news/mplayer/sxsw/73367 -- //VD _______________________________________________ tce mailing list [email protected] http://lists.paradigma.pt/mailman/listinfo/tce
