Yeah, that is a bug in the 1.1 release. The new 1.2 release includes
a readme in the windows directory that is actually for the windows
version. Of course, there is no binary version of the 1.2 release so
you will need to compile it yourself if you use the 1.2 version.
All you need to do is make sure that tcljava.jar and jacl.jar
are on your CLASSPATH. Then you will want to type "java tcl.lang.Shell"
and it will start the shell.

There is an applet example in the demos for 1.1 and 1.2. Keep in
mind that using Jacl in an applet can be a chore because the JVM
inside web browsers is often implemented incorrectly.
