this email for action to save ECFE.
ECFE is the Early Childhood Family
Education program. I have never been to any of their classes because they don’t
really cater to the schedules of working parents – at least the one near
me doesn’t. Again this is a program that I’m sure has been deemed “non-essential”
but I think it’s a great program. It’s a good place for parents to
pick up parenting skills. I think more importantly it’s a great place for
stay-at-home parents to meet other stay-at-home parents. And from what little I
experienced of it and from what I hear staying at home with babies can be an
isolating experience! I think anything that keeps parents sane is essential.
What do other folks think? Has anyone gone

Thursday, April 3rd.
It is important for them to hear from us again before the vote.

"Vote against bill 0752, because it severely underfunds ECFE (Early
Childhood Family Education) and will destroy the program if it passes."
