REPLY: The route could be on Hennepin from the Entertainment Block through St Anthony and down Fourth Street through Dinkytown to University Ave. rather than going to the expense of a subway. The Hennepin route would also cover DeLasalle High School and Nicollett Island. Near downtown Minneapolis, besides the Washington Ave Bridge, there are at least three other bridges across the Mississippi. Although the Regents impression that a state of the art transportation systems ruins a line of sight is contrary to my opinion, other routes might be more profitable and therefore less expensive. I am not involved with the manufacture or selling of any transportation system. However, I choose not to own a car and rely on bicycle, foot or public transportation. I would like to see some new additions to the system that augment existing opportunities. Thanks.
