Carol,

 

Conditional text isn’t used in the TOC, LOT, and IX. Those files bring in exactly what they see at the time of generating/updating based on what your conditional text is in other files, but it doesn’t bring in the conditionalized text settings and let you toggle between conditions. You’ll still have to update those files for each book, regardless of whether or not you figure out how to share them between books (which I don’t think you can do).

 

Your structure should look like this:

vendor_guide LOT.fm
