I'm currently juggling updates and additions to a Quick Reference Guide, three printer User Guides, a wireless print server User Guide, and an RFID Programming Guide. I need to get the CAD drawings for a new printer so I can start creating the graphics I'll need for the QRG and UG for that printer. I'm also making sure that anything I develop for that new printer can be used in the Maintenance Manual with the flip of conditional text indicators.
Fortunately, the 20 or 30 other UGs and QRGs that I'm the writer for or the handful of MMs that I contribute to don't need to be worked on right this minute, and I don't have any urgent or unrealistic deadlines coming up in the next couple of days. So far this week, I've actually had time to sort through the mountains of paper and the electronic mountains of e-mail that I acquired over the last two or three months of chaos. Who would have thought that working on eight manuals spread out over four products/projects would seem easy? :-) Donna - CONFIDENTIAL- This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential, and may also be legally privileged.
