Thank you so much! I have to tell you that I feel a bit of a fool. I thought that I'd searched the Adobe FrameMaker Help for "superscript", with a resulting hit of one topic that had nothing to do with text options. But when I did it again just now, up came the topic so kindly provided by Tom. Full moon out there wreaking havoc on the Adobe Search feature? At any rate, I am very appreciative that we can now fine tune our superscript characters.
The other neat thing is that changing the offset in the Text Options box changes it in any variables that use the superscript character.
