I don't suppose the folks in charge of deciding such things would be
willing to step foward and describe the "punch" that the currently
posted content has and indexing article lacks. Or perhaps "punch" is
intangible and doesn't lend itself to description.

Don't infer any opinion on my part about what has been (or should have
been) accepted or rejected. What interests me is this effort to make
technical writing *interesting*, not merely informative.
