For new xrefs:

1 Open FrameMaker.

2 When inserting the xref, click Special > Cross-Reference. The
Cross-Reference dialog box opens.

3 In the Reference area, in the Frmat: list, select the xref style you
want top use.

4 Click Insert.

For existing xrefs:

1 Open FM and locate the xref you want to change.

2 Double-click the xref you want to change. The Cross-Reference dialog
box opens.

3 In the Reference area, in the Frmat: list, select the xref style you
want top use.

4 Click Insert.

Cheers,

Sean

Subject: [TCP] changing cross-reference formats (FrameMaker)

Hi everyone,

I'm sure what I need to do is simple, but I can't remember how to do it,
and can't seem to find it in the help. I want to change all the Fig Ref
cross references to another cross reference format. What is the simplest
way to do that? I'm using FM 7.0p579 on Windows XP.

Thanks!
Lisa B.
