Why burden me with having to set up yet another list/blog when this is
A) relevant B) on topic, and C) easily identifiable and deletable to
those who don't wish to participate?

Let us talk amongst ourselves. If you don't want to talk on this topic,
move along. Personally, I delete about 75% of messages unread. It's
really easy to do. I suggest you try it if a topic isn't of interest.
Isn't that why this list was set up as an alternative and which would
allow more free-flow of postings?

Not everyone's signal to noise ratio is going to be the same. I
personally don't give a hoot about a lot of topics. Doesn't mean I'll
unsubscribe (take my ball and go home) or complain (Mommy!!). I'll be a
grown up and self-select what I read.

Sheesh.
