<snip>...and appointments scheduled through things such as Outlook may be off by an hour until things get synchronized again.</snip>
One thing I found with my PDA (an early version of PocketPC) was that it didn't get updated when Western Australia decided to trial daylight saving late last year. I kept wondering why I was an hour late to hairdressing appointments etc., then the receptionist at my dentist said that one of their clients had a PDA and was also an hour out all the time. Aha! That was it! The patch put out by Microsoft fixed the server and the computers, but not the PocketPC OS. So from then on I called the place the day before just to make sure I had the time right - or didn't enter the next appointment in my PDA. I'd get it on an appointment card, enter it into Outlook on my PC, then let it synch with the PDA - the time would be right then. Later PDA OSes may work better, but this is a 'heads up' for those using earlier ones. If anyone has a solution to this issue, I'd like to hear it so I can deal with it next year when we start the second year of our three year daylight savings trial.
