Hi Lisa, Paragraph tags will only let you place graphics above or below a paragraph. To the left or right isn't an option (but it should be!). You should be able to accomplish what you're looking for by using a two-column table. Put the graphic in the far left column, and make all of the borders invisible. We do that for our notes and cautions.
To automate inserting this type of graphic and table, you can look into a plug-in called AutoText. That will let you create your own drop-down menu where you can select items to insert on the fly. Carla Martinek, our plug-in guru, created an extensive list of things that we can insert without having to think about them.
