ForeATM devices might pretend to be Ethernet devices; SunATM devices,
however, don't - as per my other mail, they claim to be ATM devices, and
libpcap currently includes no support for ATM DLPI devices.

atmsnoop is probably snoop with stuff added to it to support ATM
(atmsnoop capture files are just snoop capture files, as per RFC 1761,
except that it has a datalink type that was, I suspect, in the
"Unassigned" range when that RFC was written, but may have been added to
DLPI after that).
As such, it doesn't use libpcap, it uses its own code to use DLPI.
