There will be some days around May 15th that there will be no newsletter. I am having my total knee replacement replaced. I fell a while back and caused damage to my knee and loosened the total knee replacement and have to get it replaced again. I will have surgery on May 15th. I already have the newsletters done for several days around that date and will send them out from my hospital room when I am awake enough to find the keys on my laptop. Listbot (the way I send out these newsletters) has not been sending them out in a timely manner. I am sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone. I have no control over the situation. Key was inspired to write a poem, which was later set to music. Even before "The Star-Spangled Banner" became our national anthem, it helped transform the garrison flag with the same name into a major national symbol of patriotism and identity. Harold Peary had played a number of character roles on "Fibber McGee and Molly," including a number of pompous characters named Gildersleeve. Eventually, he was given a recurring role as the McGees' next door neighbor, Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve. Vain, egotistical, bombastic, the Great Gildersleeve was noted for his deep voice and trilling pronouncement, "You're a ha-a-a-ard man, McGee!" Gildersleeve became Fibber McGee's best enemy, and the two men had some notable verbal battles over the years. http://members.tripod.com/ethomsen/gildy.html Family Tree Magazine Discover, preserve, and celebrate your family history with Family Tree Magazine, your complete online genealogy toolbox featuring SuperSearch, free email, downloadable forms, a bookstore and more. http://www.familytreemagazine.com/ LearnLots - Computer Basics If you're already using a computer, you can use these tutorials to fill in the gaps in your knowledge.
