Thanks to Andi Stepnick and Sister Edith Bogue for responding to my
question about the representations of men in baby magazines. Here are their
suggestions, for others who might be interested:
<<I haven't seen any research on representation outside of an old
film on men's images (called Stale Roles and Tight Buns!).>>
<<Tangentially relevant is the research that's been done of late on
marketing to and for kids - Juliet Schor's book Born to Buy and Susan
Linn's Consuming Kids come to mind.>>
