Carol Jenkins (Glendale AZ Community College) put me on to Postville: When Cultures Collide - I showed it to all my classes and students really liked it. It is about a small farming town in Iowa that is economic decline until a group of Hasidic Jews by a huge meatpacking plant and set up a kosher meat business . . . and hire Hispanic workers. It depicts rural diversity as well as subcultures that may or may not want to integrate.

--- Begin Message --- Hi All,
For my introduction to sociology course, we do a segment on Subcultures. I like to show a video and have successfully used The Devil's Playground. However, I would like to make a change and am looking for suggestions.
Any videos/documentaries illustrating subcultures within the United States?
As usual, thanks so much.
