Hi all:

One of the posts recently talked about near bedlam breaking out when a
student brought up the Budweiser "Real Men of Genius" ads. In that spirit,
I thought I would post the link that really revved up my students a few
weeks ago.

It is a very well-done art project profiling the first "male pregnancy".
The students were given the link for their weekly writing assignment and
asked to react in a brief essay. When they got back to class the next
period, many of the students thought it was real and it led to a quite
animated conversation about gender, technology, social change, etc. Even
many of those who knew it was a hoax chimed in. One of the quiet students
even excitedly reported a few days ago that the "pregnant" Mr. Lee is now
featured on a Dairy Queen commercial.
