Greetings fellow travelers, I'm teaching a sociology of families course in the fall, and am looking for an engaging monograph. I really would like for it to be written by a sociologist (rather than a journalist). The class is for lower-division students. Any brilliant suggestions?
(I'm toying with the idea of incorporating a full-length book - I will also continue to use various other articles and excerpts....) Thanks for the help!
