I had heard of that several weeks ago and
sent my compliments and encouragement to Professor Entman. She said she
received so much support from colleagues that she was not able to respond to
each one *individually* I think that we’ve just about
reached the point or are close to it when “technology” is ENSLAVING
humans instead of the reverse. The overuse, abuse and misuse of computers, power
point presentations, ipods, etc., etc. is rampant and virtually out of
control. It is fueled, in part, by the makers of the relevant hardware/software
as well as those who think that “technological gadgets” are a
substitute for good solid teaching and learning rather than a complement to it. Michael Klausner From:
