I am using Brokeback Mountain in my Family/Sexuality course as well as in my course on American Violence. I believe Crash would be an excellent film to use on Violence and on Class, but haven't yet seen it.
I also use Michael Moore's Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 in my Violence course, as well as when I explore corporate values versus family values. ( I showed the Wal-Mart movie, too, to illustrate the latter.)
