The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a fixed term position for fall semester 2006 and spring semester 2007 at the Assistant Professor/Instructor of Sociology level. We are seeking a sociologist who is prepared to teach introductory sociology and introductory and more advanced social psychology courses. Other courses might include sociological practice and/or race and ethnic relations. The successful candidate will provide evidence of appropriate preparation and/or effectiveness in teaching. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.
