howdy

i am looking for either studies or "official" data on economic phenomena
of the US population; specifically, the average amount of debt that each
person has, percentage of population that has a savings account, etc. i
am essentially looking to see if i can find any inferential data that we
are a "spend now, pay later" kind of culture (the federal government is
not included in this search -- we know they are).

appreciate any leads you can provide.

thanks

john
