Hi all, I heard two students discussion world affairs and course work Student A was trying to convince B that they should consider the concept of return to form as similar to regression toward the mean. A used Afghanistan and Russia as examples of return to form.... and suggested that regression toward the mean was a way of measuring return to form.... sports teams and players were also used as examples. B attempted to raise counter arguments..... using arguments in the text.....but refused to consider Afghanistan's reinstatement of Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, another evidence that they were becoming more like the Taliban thus returning to form...B dismissed this and asked about Iraq..... A claimed that that might happen there too... There was continued examples by A...... Finally B claimed with authority.... none of this was in the book.
