Well, I think they want to do more than just play it. I think they
want to manipulate the movies.
So, it sounds like I need Perian to play them and Quicktime PRo to
manipulate them?
Quicktime PRo does not come with this investment?

Quicktime pro plus the mpeg addon should do what you need.
I think it is 30 bucks. The addon probably works without Pro but you will need pro to convert video.

Our Principal and AD Director, without my knowledge, went and bought a HUGE Apple
26" Screen/computer and now need support.
They have a bunch of Mpeg's on a PC and want to move them to the Apple.
Physically we can do this, but the Apple does not recognize the movies. How do
we get the Apple to open and view these movies?
Download and install Perian
