Subject: [tech-geeks] Cisco Switch Config

I am having troubles configuring a cisco switch, it is a 3500 xl. All I am
trying to do is turn on a vlan and it isn't listening to me. I am directly
connected to it. Here is what I am doing

Config t
Interface vlan100
No shut

I have tried no shutdown. I can change the other things in the vlan like the
description and the ip, but it won't turn on. Am I doing something incorrect
here?
