I'm doing some volunteer work on a server 2003 standard server and have hit a problem. After applying nearly 500MB of M$ updates the server will not shut down. It will not display any programs in add/remove programs. If I enter safe mode I can gain entry into add/remove programs and it will shut down properly. I checked the application logs and didn't see anything that would point me in a particular direction. Suggestions????
